The Wall Street Journal has hired Chris Kornelis as an obituary reporter.
Kornelis has been a freelancer for the past decade, writing about TV, film, personal finance, business and technology — among other topics — for The Journal and The New York Times.
He has also written for many other publications, including Money and Entrepreneur. Kornelis is the author of “Rocking Fatherhood: The Dad-to-Be’s Guide to Staying Cool” (Da Capo/Lifelong Books, 2016).
Kornelis previously worked at Seattle Weekly. He’s a University of Idaho graduate.
