The Wall Street Journal has hired Gina Heeb as a reporter covering consumer finance and banking.
She has been working as a contract reporter for Bloomberg Industry Group and as a stringer for the New York Times.
Heeb previously worked as a breaking news reporter for Forbes and as a reporter for Business Insider, where she covered financial markets and fiscal and monetary policy.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
