WSJ hires Harris as managing editor

Wall Street Journal editor in chief Emma Tucker sent out the following:

Dear All,

I’m delighted to let you know that Liz Harris is joining The Wall Street Journal newsroom as Managing Editor on March 6.

Liz joined News UK by way of Sky in 2012 and comes to the Journal from The Times and The Sunday Times, where she was part of the managing editor’s team since 2013, ultimately serving as the acting group managing editor.

Her 10 years of experience transforming newsrooms for digital-first and cross-title publishing will further our ongoing efforts to meet audiences where they are.

Please join me in welcoming Liz.
