WSJ hires Gershkovich to cover Russia biz and economy

Evan Gershkovich

Evan Gershkovich has joined The Wall Street Journal as a reporter in the Moscow bureau focusing on business and the economy.

Recently, he was a Moscow correspondent at Agence France-Presse.

His articles have also appeared in The Economist, MIT Technology Review, Foreign Policy and Politico Europe among others. Gershkovich has also made regular appearances on BBC News, NPR and Public Radio International, among other outlets.

He has also reported for The Moscow Times and was a news assistant at The New York Times.

Gershkovich is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
