WSJ hires Butler as deputy opinion editor

The Wall Street Journal has hired Jack Butler as deputy opinion editor.

He will write, edit and solicit opinion pieces.

Butler previously worked at The National Review as associate editor, submissions editor and a contributor. He also was a research assistant at the American Enterprise Institute.

He is a graduate of Hilldale College.
