WSJ hires Barberia as social media editor

Gianna Barberia

The Wall Street Journal has hired Gianna Barberia as a social media editor.

Barberia was at Cheddar News, where she worked as a social media producer.

She was a content center producer/assignment editor at WFXT-TV Ch. 25, a Fox affiliate in Boston. She worked as a freelance writer and videographer at Khoury College of Computer Sciences and interned at CBS News and NBCUniversal.

In addition, she worked at the Boston Globe.

Barberia has a B.A. in journalism from Northeastern University.
