Wired senior writer Pardes set to depart

Arielle Pardes, a senior writer covering the Silicon Valley at Wired, will leave.

Pardes’ tweet reads:

“This is my last week at @WIRED , after 5 ½ years of covering the Silicon Valley zeitgeist. It’s been an immense privilege to work with editors like @anthonylydgate , @tsimonite , @caitlin__kelly, and @snackfight. I’m indebted to @nxthompson for bringing me in.”

Previously, she was a senior associate editor at Wired. She was an editorial assistant, associate editor and senior editor at Vice Media.

Pardes has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
