Wired magazine has hired Gizmodo executive editor Andrew Couts to be a senior editor overseeing its security desk.
He starts on Monday.
He has been executive editor since 2021. Previously, he was serving as interim editor-in-chief.
Couts has been with Gizmodo for over four years, having also served as managing editor and deputy editor. He was also a politics editor at The Daily Dot and a features editor at Digitaltrends.com. He was also an associate editor at The Week.
Couts also held editorial posts at Maxim magazine and Stuff magazine.
