Megan Farokhmanesh, a gaming reporter at Axios who co-writes its gaming newsletter, has been hired by Wired as a senior reporter.
She will start May 23. She has been at Axios for a year.
Farokhmanesh was previously at The Verge where she was a reporter covering internet culture and the video game industry. She was also a reporter, senior reporter and deputy managing editor at Polygon.
She has also freelanced for Paste Magazine and was a web editor at Vox magazine. She was also a tech writer at Newsy.com.
Farokhmanesh holds a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism and classics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
