Politico Europe has hired Oscar Williams as UK tech and trade editor.
Recently, he was a technology editor at The New Statesman.
Before that, Williams served as a news editor for NS Tech, editor for NS Tech, senior technology journalist and acting special projects editor. Prior to joining the New Statesman in 2017, he was a tech reporter at The Huffington Post.
He worked as a commissioning editor at Guardian News & Media and a production journalist at The Times. He also worked at The Independent and Vice. He interned at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
Williams has a B.A. from the University of Nottingham and a M.A. from City University of London.
