Oscar Williams-Grut will join the Telegraph as assistant business editor.
He starts in June. He recently was a city editor at the Evening Standard.
Before that, he was at Yahoo Finance, where he co-ran the London desk on an interim basis and then served as a senior city correspondent. He also covered fintech, finance, politics and general business news for Business Insider.
Williams-Grut previously worked as an online business journalist and market reporter at the Evening Standard. He also worked at The Tab.
Williams-Grut has a B.A. from the University of Cambridge.
