Wile named VP of design at ACBJ

Jon Wile has been named to the newly created position of vice president of design at American City Business Journals, which operates more than 40 business news publications around the country

He had been vice president of content and design for six-and-a-half of the 10 years he’s been at ACBJ.

Wile will continue to oversee the National Content Team on an interim basis.

The company will soon be posting two new positions on the corporate staff – one overseeing editorial operations and one leading content strategy for the business journals.

“The design role is an expansion of my current duties and oversees design strategy and operations for the entire company, not just editorial,” said Wile in an email. “This includes events, advertising, product/UX and marketing. I am pretty excited about the role and the challenges ahead.”
