WHRO biz reporter Murphy named an editor

Ryan Murphy, the business and growth reporter at WHRO in Virginia, has been named an editor in its newsroom.

He joined the newsroom in 2021 after eight years at local newspapers, the Daily Press and Virginian-Pilot.

Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
