The Washington Post has named Jaclyn Peiser as a business reporter covering retail.
“I’m so excited to dive into this crucial beat and chronicle how the economy is impacting everyday consumers,” she wrote on Twitter.
Peiser has been a reporter on the Morning Mix team. She joined The Post in 2020 after almost five years at the New York Times, where she was a news assistant and reporter covering the media industry.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in American studies and communications and media studies from Goucher College and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
