
Riley Beggin has been hired by the Washington Post to cover Congressional economic policy.
She currently Congress and campaigns for USA Today.
Before joining USA Today in October 2023, Beggin covered national politics and auto policy for The Detroit News and state politics for Bridge Michigan. She has also previously worked for Los Angeles’ NPR station, KPCC, and for ABC News. She has received state and national awards for her enterprise and investigative reporting.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri.
