Chris Matthews, a Washington correspondent for MarketWatch.com covering financial regulation and economic policy, is leaving the news organization.
He is becoming a senior writer for the Investment Company Institute.
He previously served as an equity-markets reporter in New York and also worked for Axios in New York. Matthews has also worked for Fortune, Time magazine and Debtwire.
Matthews holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and a master’s degree from New York University.
