Zosia Wanat is joining Politico Europe’s energy and climate team in March as a reporter.
She has been Politico Europe’s policy reporter, covering agriculture and food safety. Previously she worked for MLex in Brussels as a Brexit correspondent and for the Financial Times as a reporter in London, Paris and Warsaw.
She has also published in various Polish and international media, including Polityka Insight, Visegrad Insight and fDI Magazine, covering mainly developments in central eastern Europe.
Wanat graduated from the College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw, having spent a semester at Sciences Po, Paris, and from the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw.
She joined MLex as a fellow of the Lénaïc Fund for Quality Journalism, and is an alumna of the European Youth Parliament and Aspen Young Leaders Program. She speaks English, Polish and French.
