Vinopal to cover labor and management for the Observer

Courtney Vinopal

The Observer has hired Courtney Vinopal to cover labor and management.

She recently covered the same beat at Quartz as a business news reporter.

She had worked as an associate producer and general assignment reporter at PBS NewsHour. She was also a news producer at France 2 in Washington, France’s flagship public broadcast channel.

She was also an editorial fellow at Washingtonian Magazine.

Vinopal has a B.A. from Denison University and a M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
