Vice finds a suitor, China bans finance writer from social media, WaPo editors named Maynard Fellows

It’s a Vice virtue, as Fortress Investment Group leads a group of buyers taking over the bankrupt outlet for $350 million. In other news, China has banned prominent finance writer Wu Xiaobo (pictured) from the social media platform Weibo for comments on the stock market and unemployment, while the Washington Post’s Dorine Bethea and April Bethea have been named Maynard 200 Fellows.
