The Verge senior reporter Chaim Gartenberg has left the tech news site and is joining Google in internal communications.
He had been covering gizmos, gadgets, buttons, and USB-C standards.
Previously, he was a news editor.
Gartenberg has been with the Verge for 10 years, previously working as a reporter, covering beats, including general technology industry, gadgets through The Verge’s Circuit Breaker vertical, and entertainment. Before that, he was an editorial intern.
He has also contributed as a guest columnist on various topics in technology and technology news at SlashGear, an online magazine.
Gartenberg graduated from Rutgers University.
