Vega switches to pop culture and entertainment at CNBC

Nick Vega

CNBC Make It personal finance reporter Nick Vega is moving to a new beat covering pop culture and entertainment.

He joined CNBC a year ago after cove tech for The New York Post. Vega had been at the Post since September 2017.

He previously interned at Business Insider and the “Today” show.

Vega has a graduate of SUNY-Binghamton, where he was editor in chief and news editor of the student newspaper.

CNBC Make It is the business news channel’s site devoted to personal finance.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
