Tatiana Siegel, executive editor of entertainment industry publication Variety, is leaving to join the California Post, Sharon Waxman and Benjamin Lindsay of The Wrap report.
Siegel has been an executive editor for film and media. Previously, she served as a senior writer at Rolling Stone and as editor at large at The Ankler, a newsletter in Los Angeles about the entertainment industry.
She also was at The Hollywood Reporter, where she has spent over nine years in various roles, including senior film writer, deputy film editor, and executive film editor. She worked at Variety from August 2007 to June 2012 as a film reporter.
Siegel earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University.
