Weekend editor Virginia Van Natta has departed Bloomberg News after more than 30 years.
She started at Bloomberg in May 1995 as a copy editor in Tokyo. She also was an editor in London and a deputy team leader for stocks coverage in Singapore.
Van Natta also spent more than seven years as a trainer, part of a global team of 10 that trained interns, reporters and editors.
As an editor on the weekend team, she also helped curate Bloomberg.com sections and social media with a goal of driving more people to its website and boosting readership.
Van Natta is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
