USA Today moves Schulz to biz news desk

Bailey Schulz

USA Today travel reporter Bailey Schulz has moved to the business news desk as a general assignment reporter.

She has been at USA Today for the past year.

Schulz previously was a business reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal covering gaming and tourism for two years and economic development, utilities, startups and tech for two years.

She interned at Bloomberg News, the Review-Journal and the Lincoln Journal Star in Nebraska. Schulz holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
