Tweh named WSJ’s Chicago bureau chief

Bowdeya Tweh has been promoted to Chicago bureau chief at the Wall Street Journal, reporting to Jamie Heller.

Previously, Tweh was a deputy chief in the corporate news bureau in New York. He has worked as an editor in the technology bureau and led reporters on Dow Jones Newswires’s spot news team.

Prior to the Journal, he has also worked at the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Times of Northwest Indiana, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Detroit Free Press, Crain’s Detroit Business and Automotive News.

He has covered the U.S. steel industry, real estate, local government, and myriad other topics as a reporter. As an editor, he has steered coverage on a range of companies including Procter & Gamble and GameStop.
