Angered over the New York Times shuttering its Sports section, the NewsGuild has called for a newsroom protest—big news at a paper that prides itself as a bastion of fairness. One displaced Sports editor, Shauntel Lowe, is now on the Metro desk. Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Times has launched “Immigrant Dreams,” a series of articles, photos and videos based on a nationwide survey of adult immigrants.
