Tribune hires Crain’s Chicago’s Quig to cover Cook County government

A.D. Quig

The Chicago Tribune has tapped A.D. Quig to cover Cook County government.

She joins from Crain’s Chicago Business, where she was a government and politics reporter.

Prior to that, she worked as a reporter and producer covering Chicago politics for the digital trade publication The Daily Line, aimed at government insiders via newsletter, social media, and podcast. She was also a producer at Rivet Radio in Chicago.

She also worked at NPR, WSBT Radio in South Bend, Indiana, and WIUX 99.1 FM, Indiana University’s student media organization.

Quig has a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
