Laura Brummett, who covers restaurants, retail and hospitality for the Triangle Business Journal, is leaving the publication on March 15.
She is taking a content marketing role at Relias. Brummett has been with the Business Journal since August 2021.
Brummett previously was the city editor for RALToday, the Raleigh-based newsletter from 6AM City.
She previously interned at The (Raleigh) News & Observer, tech news site GrepBeat and The Sanford Herald.
Brummett is a business journalism graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill.
