“Mukherjee joined ACBJ in 1991 as managing editor in Raleigh before moving to Washington, D.C., as bureau chief for ACBJ to serve as small businesses’ eyes and ears on the federal government as it related to legislation, regulations and government programs.
“He returned to Raleigh in 2000 as editor in chief of Triangle Business Journal.
“Under his leadership, the Raleigh newsroom has consistently been at or near the top of newsroom metrics for all of ACBJ and has received numerous local and national awards for business journalism.”
