He has been covering technology including artificial intelligence, robotics, VR/AR, electric vehicles, and biotechnology. He was previously a staff writer for Futurism, and a contributing writer for The Chicago Defender.
His work has been seen in HuffPost, Narratively, Outside Magazine, Playboy, and more.
Tran is a graduate of the University of Iowa.
