The Toronto Star has hired Hayden Godfrey as a business reporter.
Godfrey has been a research reporting fellow who reports and researches stories across the investigative, politics, and data teams at The Washington Post.
He is also a fellow at the Investigative Reporting Workshop, a nonprofit investigative newsroom based at American University. A native of Toronto, he previously reported on arts and culture for The Star and The National Post. He joined The Post in 2022.
Godfrey holds a bachelor’s degree from Toronto Metropolitan University and a master’s degree from American University.
