There’s a problem with the water cooler in the Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau, reports Lachlan Cartwright of Breaker.
Cartwright reports, “In this tense political environment where reporters are on high alert after the Trump administration subpoenaed five New York Times journalists on Friday, what could possibly be the pressing matter that one of EIC Emma Tucker’s lieutenants was emailing about?
“‘Colleagues, Despite multiple reminders, we continue to experience issues with liquids being poured into the Bevi machine,’ the appropriately named Charlene Washington, News Office Manager, told D.C. staffers in an email obtained and reviewed by Breaker.
“‘Please be aware that Security has now been notified of these ongoing incidents,’ the email with the subject line ‘Bevi Machine’ read.”
