The Telegraph hires Simpson as a transport correspondent

Jack Simpson

The Telegraph has hired Jack Simpson as its transportation correspondent.

Simpson will begin in January. Recently, Simpson was an assistant editor for news and investigations at Inside Housing in London, previously serving as a deputy news editor and news editor

Before that, Simpson was an infrastructure reporter at Construction News and held the posts of online reporter and editorial video assistant at The Independent.

He interned at The Times and the Evening Standard.

Simpson has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sheffield and a master’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London.
