Previously, she was a freelance video journalist and producer at Latest TV Limited in the U.K. She also worked at Sky and was a video journalist at Notts TV. She was also a broadcast journalist at Radio News Hub.
Marshall has a B.A. from the University of Leeds and a M.A. from Nottingham Trent University.
