Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith, a credit cards writer at The Points Guy, has left.

His tweet reads, “I’m starting a new job on Monday and will share more details then. I’m excited for what’s next.”

Smith joined The Points Guy in July 2021 as a freelance writer.

He was an associate editor at AwardWallet, where he covered credit card rewards, travel, points and miles, loyalty programs and how these companies compare to cash back rewards.

He was a freelance writer and senior editor at the website Miles to Memories, where he reported on travel, credit card rewards and points and miles programs.
