Sean Cudahy, a reporter at The Points Guy, has left and is working freelance. His tweet reads:
“I’m a freelance reporter (and a ‘free agent’) these days, after being one of many journalists affected by late-2022 layoffs.
“What’s next for me? Long-term, I’m keeping an open mind. I’ve stayed (really) busy writing for several publications and organizations.
“In the meantime, I’d love to talk, whether you have an immediate need for a freelance reporter, writer or video/content specialist… or, anticipate another opportunity down the road. Email: szcudahy@gmail.com
“I should add, I’m based in the Raleigh, NC area where my wife is doing her residency at UNC (she’s going to be chief resident!)”
Previously, Cudahy was an evening reporter at WNCN-TV, a CBS-affiliate in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Cox Media Group.
He interned at NBC Washington.
Goldsboro has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political science from American University.
