The Plug managing editor Melton departs

Monica Melton

Monica Melton, managing editor at The Plug, which covers Black tech news, has left after a year for a new opportunity.

Prior to joining The Plug, she was covering innovation, technology and venture capital at Forbes.

Before that, she has reported on politics for Politico and has covered entertainment for Time Out New York.

She is an alumna of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and the University of Washington.
