Ciro Scotti has joined news startup The Messenger as a business and finance editor.
Recently, he was a senior project manager at Blue Heron Research Partners, where he worked for five years.
Before that, Scotti served as deputy editor, The Americas at Reuters. He was the executive editor of The Fiscal Times and served as managing editor of BusinessWeek/Bloomberg Businessweek for five years.
Scotti has a B.A. in journalism from New York University.
