News startup The Messenger has hired Sasha Jones to cover national real estate stories.
She will start in two weeks.
Jones has been a reporter at the New York Business Journal, an American City Business Journals publication, covering economic development.
Prior to joining the New York Business Journal, Jones was a reporter for the The Real Deal, where she covered retail and residential real estate in New York City.
She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University, where she participated in the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism. Her undergraduate degree is from American University, where she majored in journalism with a minor in Law and Society.
