Abubaker Idris
News startup The Messenger has hired Abubakar Idris as a science and technology reporter.
He most recently has been in the Knight-Bagehot program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Idris previously was an Africa reporter for Rest of World and a contributor to Quartz. He also worked for Big Cabal Media and Stears Insight.
He is a graduate of Kogi State University.
