Tech news site The Information has hired Erin Woo as a reporter to cover startups and venture capital.
She will start in June.
Woo has been a technology reporting fellow at The New York Times for the past year. She previously interned at The Mercury News in San Jose and WNYC Radio in New York.
She is a graduate of Stanford University, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper.
