Kendra Barnett has been promoted to be The Drum’s U.S. associate editor.
Based in New York, she manages day-to-day coverage of the U.S. market and works alongside global editors to shape editorial strategy across the publication. She also leads The Drum’s coverage on media, platforms, ad tech and data privacy.
Prior to joining The Drum, she spent a number of years working in the digital marketing space as an editorial lead and copywriter — and enjoyed a brief stint as an English teacher in Japan.
Barnett holds a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Cambridge.
