“The Closer” podcast to focus on deals

A new podcast called “The Closer” is coming next month that will focus on important deals and their impact.

The podcast, which will start Feb. 6, will be hosted by Aimee Keane, a former Financial Times journalist who was the founding executive producer and host of the FT’s first narrative business podcast, “Behind the Money.”

Keane also co-founded Bazaar Audio, a podcast production studio which produces narrative and conversational podcasts about the economy.

The podcast is produced by Ben Walsh who is also its newsletter editor-in-chief. Walsh was previously a senior reporter at Barron’s magazine. He has worked as a business and finance reporter at HuffPost, Reuters and Business Insider. Walsh has also written for The Daily Beast and The Intercept.

Before becoming a journalist, he worked for 5 years at Goldman Sachs.

The podcast is a production of Project Brazen a global journalism studio and production company specializing in fact-based narratives. It delivers stories via podcasts, books, documentaries, television shows and films. The company was founded in Singapore in 2021 by Tom Wright and Bradley Hope, former colleagues at the Wall Street Journal and co-authors of “Billion Dollar Whale.”
