Cryptocurrency news site The Block has hired Nathan Crooks to be its East Coast managing editor.
Crooks previously was with Bloomberg News as a breaking news editor based out of Miami. He also spent five years as its Caracas bureau chief and two years as an energy reporter in Venezuela.
Before Bloomberg, he was energy editor for Business News America and an editor of The Santiago Times in Chile.
Crooks holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from American University.
