The Atlantic hires Edelman as a senior editor for economics coverage

Gilad Edelman

Gilad Edelman has joined The Atlantic as a senior editor to help expand coverage of economics and the political economy.

Recently, he worked as a communications strategist at the Federal Trade Commission. Before that, he was a politics writer at Wired.

Edelman also served as editor and then executive editor at The Washington Monthly.

Edelman has a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in New York and a JD from Yale Law School.
