
Entertainment industry publication The Ankler has hired Kelsey Stefanson as design director.
Stefanson will be responsible for the visual expression of Ankler Media brands — flagship The Ankler, creator economy newsletter Like & Subscribe, and book/IP standalone The Optionist — across all platforms.
She joins Ankler Media following more than a decade at The Hollywood Reporter, where she climbed the ranks from freelance designer to design director.
During her tenure at The Hollywood Reporter, Stefanson led the creative work for digital editorial products, special awards-season content for print and digital, as well as international film festival daily magazines. She also designed and managed the visual direction of the relaunched THR.com and overhauled the look of THR’s social media channels.
Stefanson’s work has been awarded and recognized by multiple organizations including the Society of Publication Designers, ASME and the Los Angeles Press Club.
