Tepper joins Forbes Advisor as senior writer

Taylor Tepper

Forbes Advisor has hired Taylor Tepper as a senior writer focusing on the saving and spending behavior of consumers.

He has been the lead editor of the banking vertical at USA Today Blueprint.

Before that, Tepper was at Forbes Advisor as a retirement writer covering retirement and investment. Tepper was also with Wirecutter where he worked as a senior writer covering personal finance.

Tepper has also worked at Bankrate.com as a financial planning writer and analyst. He also covered everything related to investing, savings and credit as a staff writer for Money magazine and also served as a currencies reporter at Bloomberg.

Tepper earned his undergraduate degree from New York University and his master’s degree in journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
