Technical.ly hires Rao as editor

Sameer Rao

Technical.ly has appointed Sameer Rao as an editor.

He begins Feb. 21.

In his new role, Rao will oversee reporting on technology careers, growing businesses and the changing economy, with a dedicated focus on Baltimore and Washington.

Rao was recently a legal industry reporter at Law360. He was also an arts and entertainment reporter at The Baltimore Sun. He was also a neighborhood editor at the Philadelphia City Paper and brings mentorship experience from the Asian American Journalists Association’s Voices program.

His work has also appeared in The Washington Post Express, Philadelphia City Paper, the Philadelphia Public School Notebook, Generocity and Philly Voice among others.

Rao graduated from Haverford College.
