TechCrunch senior reporter Mary Ann Azevedo is leaving after more than four years.
Azevedo writes on LinkedIn that she needs a break from full-time reporting and will freelance for TechCrunch and write for Crunchbase News.
Azevedo had been managing editor at FinLedger. Azevedo came to HW Media in June 2020 as fintech editor for HousingWire.
Previously, Azevedo was working as a senior reporter at Crunchbase News.
Azevedo has also served as Austin correspondent for Crain’s and has also worked as a real estate reporter at Silicon Valley Business Journal. She was also at Houston Business Journal for more than 6 years, joining as a reporter, technology and health care and then holding the post of assistant managing editor.
