TechCrunch makes a small layoff

TechCrunch has laid off less than 10 staffers, reports Geoff Weiss of Business Insider.

Weiss reports, “‘We’re excited about the future of TechCrunch,’ the spokesperson said in a statement, adding the company was ‘making changes to some roles that no longer fit our evolving needs.’

“They said the company would continue to grow and hire.

“‘This adjustment reflects our commitment to aligning our team structure with our business goals and not a cost-cutting effort,’ they added.”
